#PROTIP: Marketing On Facebook For Adult Stars - Time Waste

Here is the number one tip for adult stars wanting to establish a strong presence on Facebook - it’s a waste of time. Sure, set up a page so you have some type existence on there. But at the end of the day, investing any time and effort to cultivate a following on it will eventually be a waste of time.

Why? The Facebook Team is notorious for using a separate standard for adult stars than the general populace. I am quite aware of the written Facebook rules violations and adhere to them. Meaning we never post anything more than what you would see on the Victoria’s Secret or Sports Illustrated official pages. But even then, you could are cited for violations. The Page that you have worked so hard on to propagate Likes, could easily be deleted, for no justifiable reason. It has happened before, it happens everyday.

Posts of fully clothed women are cited for “Terms of Use” violations. Like this one:
Facebook Double Standard

Apparently, according to the Facebook Team, this image is not acceptable:

You uploaded a photo that violates our Terms of Use, and this photo has been removed. Facebook does not allow photos that attack an individual or group, or that contain nudity, drug use, violence, or other violations of the Terms of Use. These policies are designed to ensure Facebook remains a safe, secure and trusted environment for all users, including the many children who use the site.

Really…? But these are ok?

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit

(Note: in both cases, the Pages are 'Verified' by Facebook)

I have no issue of beautiful women only slightly covering their nipples as they are holding their bare breasts, but the double standard is obvious.

So, you can be as cautious as you like, but as long as Facebook and its “Team” continue to use a separate set of rules due to the occupation that you have chosen, then it’s waste of your time. There are other social media outlets out there.
